This acousmatic work is based on recordings of a piano Trio (violin, Cello and “prepared” piano).The title refers to the image of waves (the strings) breaking on a pebble beach (granular texture of the prepared piano sounds). The work is divided into two parts, two perspectives: first part the incoming waves and second the pebbles being twisted around and ultimately being dragged into the deep by the waves.
